1. Pomodoro Technique by Francesco Cirillo

The Pomodoro Technique was developed as a time management technique at the end of the 1980s by Francesco Cirillo.

Characteristic of this classic technique is the use of a kitchen timer, one that defines periods of 25 minutes in which one can work focused.

2. The Eisenhower Matrix

The Eisenhower matrix, also known as the Eisenhower model, Eisenhower diagram or Eisenhower quadrants a widely used model within time management.

It distinguishes between urgency and importance of tasks and looks at assignments set against this light.

By doing so, it helps to set priorities.

3. Pickle Jar Theory?

Daily we fill our day with major, minor and unimportant matters.
To know what is useful and not useful, the pickle jar theory serves as a visual metaphor.

By using a Priorities For Action Matrix activities are ranked by priority in the correct order and carried out to use time more effectively.

That has a positive effect in the long term.

5. Set Priorities.

Make – even before your day starts – a list of tasks that need your attention.
If you don't do that less critical tasks will often gobble up your precious time.
Some jobs need to be handled on a particular day while others can be rescheduled.
So you set priorities to be able to focus on those tasks that are more important.

6. Schedule tasks.

Make a list (for example, for ‘work,' ‘home' and ‘personal') and fill it each time you think about doing a task.

7. Avoid Procrastination.

A postponement may harm your productivity because it wastes both your time and energy.
Avoid it.

8. Set Deadlines.

When you take upon yourself to do a task set a realistic deadline.

9. Avoid Multitasking

Many people have the feeling that multitasking is an efficient way get things done. Nothing could be further from the truth.
We work a lot better when we focus and concentrate on one thing.

Multitasking hinders productivity and is an absolute disaster.

10. Take Breaks.

Go for 10 minutes walk, listen to music or stretch.
Working too long in one go ensures that your productivity goes down the drain.

11. Learn To Say No

Politely refuse additional tasks if you think you are already overloaded with work.
Take a look at your to-do list before you agree to extra work.
