My Goals For 2018
Don't you love it?
The start of a new year!
It’s the perfect time to get organized, refocus energy, and start with a clean slate.
For me, January was, overall, a good month.
I feel my energy returning this year because of setting fewer goals and sticking to a few priorities that I think will make the most significant difference.
But most of all by mindfully enjoying what I do.
I should mention our 2017 had sunshine and some rain.
But I am sure many people can relate to that.
So now, more than ever before, I decided to focus on essentials.
For me, that means health and family.
I also find it necessary to keep challenging myself.
Physically and mentally.
And thoroughly enjoy the things that I do.
So what does that mean for this blog?
I plan to share (useful) information on this blog and via my Twitter account.
Although I admit, I still have to find “my voice” here.
I aim to create content that keeps visitors coming back for more.
And I figure that it could take some time before I reach that sweet spot.
But I am not in a hurry.
I also plan to record some youtube videos.
It's a great place to practice my English!
And I might publish some non-fiction this year.
But only after I reach my weight loss/health goals and family goals.
So from the goals for 2018, I'd say only 1,2 & 3 are set in stone.
My Goals For 2018
1. Lose 6 kg in 12 months
-Burn calories through cardio exercise
-Reduce calorie intake by changing eating habits
2. Read 30 books in 2018
3. Reduce our mortgage by an extra 5%
-Publish 50 posts/pages
-Attract >1000 visitors per month
